CENTRE PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
Our Centre programme aims to foster and empower children in an environment that values whanaungatanga (relationships), nurtures independence, autonomy, and resilience, and promotes social and emotional development.
We emphasise extending and exploring a negotiated emergent curriculum that is personally meaningful, socially relevant, and intellectually engaging for children. We are committed to maintaining and developing an aesthetically appealing, safe environment that provokes children's innate curiosity.
Indicators: Our approach is underpinned by the principles and strands of Te Whāriki, whereby children contribute powerfully in collaboration with whānau and educators as a community of learners.
